complex... It takes a touch of genius - and a lot of courage to move in
the opposite direction.

%
I cannot imagine a God who rewards and punishes the objects of his creation and is but a reflection of human frailty.

%
I used to go away for weeks in a state of confusion.
%
I want to know all Gods thoughts; all the rest are just details.

lot, but it hardly brings us any closer to the secret of the Old One.
In any case I am convinced that He doesn't play dice.

The world is a dangerous place to live; not because
of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do
anything about it.

Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same
way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only
difference is that there is no cat.

Hi! Yogi. If I do this kind of temporary borrowing test. Please look at the Orientation Express section. No Rush! Does it have bad consequences on your blog performance? If I get a lot of traffic on my blog, will it affect the performance of your blog? If there are many people doing this kind of borrowing trick at the same time, will it affect your blog performance in some way? I'm asking these questions because I'm planning to use my Quotes Data hosted on a blog on different blogs.

yogi said...

If the traffic is too high, it will affect the performance, but in general, not specific to my blog since both the blogs are hosted on google servers.

Putting the quote data on a different server is a good idea.

If you are hosting on some other server, make sure that you are able to get the data in json format which should have a callback support too.

Data in json Format and callback support : Thanks Yogi for these clarifications.
I have the possibility to host the Quote Data on free servers like Ripway and Google Page Creator and I would like to do so in an undetermined future yet. But I don't know how to modify your QOTD widget in order to do so. I also don't know how to make the adjustments of "json Format" and "callback support".
I would appreciate if you could give me an example and some indications on how to do these adjustments.

I'm not in a rush to move the Quote Data from my blog to an external server because I have realised that hosting the Quote Data on my blog is an help in my attempts to promote my blog in search engines like Google. The Quote Data give me the opportunity to put many variations of expressions on the central theme of my bog while still creating a useful page. So I will tolerate the different disadvantages (already discussed in a previous comment- March 09, 2007 8:53 PM- under your Quote A Day Widget For Blogger ) of hosting the Quote Data on my blog until I get some significant traffic.

Still, I would like to test the Quote Data hosted on an external server as soon as it is possible.
